We are all human. And with all the bad things that happen in the world, something beautiful humanly happens in between. Today we want to remember those moments when something great happened to us and tell you some particularly heartwarming stories. Be kind! <3

A few years ago, a black guy asked me to hail him a cab because none would stop for him.
I threw up my hand. 20 seconds later, he had a cab.
“Like fucking magic,” he muttered under his breath, before thanking me.
This country needs to do better.

Did anyone else adopt a mean and crude sense of humor as a defense mechanism growing up and now you’re unlearning that pettiness and cruelty and realizing your authentic self is actually really warm and kind and gentle or is that just me?

Just now at Delancey and Norfolk in the Lower East Side an accident ran over a pedestrian trapping them under an SUV. Onlookers just lifted the SUV, dragging the victim out. pic.twitter.com/uq1IHcSJ9k

My grandpa passed away a few years ago. We didn’t get to say goodbye to him. Yesterday we found out google maps finally drove through his farm and as we were curious going through it, where the road ends, there is my grandpa, just sitting there. 😭 pic.twitter.com/CbwRTkCKrZ

HUGE NEWS: finally found my best friend from middle school on FB. We’ve both been looking for each other for over a decade. I told her I think about her every time I play any boardgame or drive by a church. She told me she uses my name as her password at work. A perfect reunion.

Toddler is melting down in the library. The mom is mortified. A stern old lady approaches & I hold my breath. «It’s okay,» she tells the mom. «I’ve been there. You’re doing great.» And then to the toddler, «You’re doing great, too. You’re doing your best.» ♥️
